Back in Summer

Good day and happy belated Independence Day, Posh Lovers! It's been a while since my last posting on here. Sorry about the silence, the home front has demanded my attention of late. 

Things are a buzzin' with Perfectly Posh this month. Partied Too Hard has been discontinued. Headquarters is hinting that it may make another appearance in the future or they will make it bigger/better. I know many of you will be sad for the benefits it had, uses for migraine relief, swelling and hot flash control, go figure! Stay tuned for more info on that end of this month. UnConventional, the Posh Convention. Is happening then, and we should hear more then. Also, Posh Man, Smooth Opperator and Kissy Face will be discontinued as well. However, once again, HQ is hi ting that we shouldn't be too concerned over it, hint hint, wink wink.

Potentially Cancerous Parabens On Your BABY!

Alright everyone, Posh Lovers and virgins out there. I want to touch on Parabens once again. I know I may sound like a broken record, but I recently did some deeper research, a few blog posts back, and discovered just why Parabens are so harmful to your body, internally and externally.

Most moms, and some dads, have probably heard that Johnson + Johnson company has only just now declared their dedication to remove harmful and potentially harmful chemicals from their baby, adult health care products, with a clean slate by 2015.

As a previous user of Baby Aveeno, a J+J company, baby wash/lotion, I have decided to quit the products containing anything with Parabens and other harmful or irritating ingredients.

Going through my bathroom and nursery, I found that Johnson's Bedtime Lotion does, in fact, have Parabins. Also that Desitin has paraffin, an irritant to sensitive, allergy and eczema prone skin. Aveeno Baby Soothing Relief Creamy Wash has sulfates, a well known irritants to the eyes and skin.

Posh Challenge!!!!!!

Posh Challenge: Go into your shower and check the ingredients of your body wash or the wrap from your bar soap. Are any of these ingredients listed:

Sulfates (SLS)

Parabens (methylparaben, propylparaben, and butylparaben)

Paraffins (Ex: Petroleum jelly) 

These ingredients, used for their inexpensiveness, can also have irritating properties. You know how your eyes sting when soap gets into your eyes? One of the ingredients that causes this are Sulfates. Used for lathering or foaming agent the additive can also dry out skin, leaving it flaky, itchy or worsen eczema. 

Though it hasn't been proven as yet, Parabens have been under the microscope to find relationships between the Parabens used in cosmetic products: soaps, lotions, shampoos, and those found in Breast Cancer tumors. 

Paraffin Material Safety Data Sheet actually state at the bottom that it poses risks of causing skin irritation, eczema, inflammation of the hair follicles. Every have an itchy scalp with no flakes? Check your shampoo, conditioner or soap. It's possible that the products you're using are the problem.

This is what I'm working on myself. A few friends of mine in the business have already surpassed me in the building of their team and rank, in a fraction of the time that I've been with Posh. Though, this is mostly due to the fact that expanding my business was limited by my lack of sales permit, a requirement in the secluded military Post I live on. 

Since acquiring this permit in February, I have made so much headway and improvement in my business, my sales have doubled if not tripled, and I am so close to promoting, I can TASTE it!

I can guarantee, that if I lived in a town that was not so secluded, 3000 population and 30 minutes away from anything else, literally nothing on the drive to the next town, my business would be in a different position than it is now, for the better!

April Sale

We are on the down side of the month of April, is everyone feeling Spring? I know those in southern Cali certainly are with the Santa Ana winds. Whew! Caffiene!!!

Joe, java, cuppa, espresso, Jon, cafe, coffee. However you call it, we all know caffiene has benefits when brewed and sipped. ;) Researchers over the years have found that when ingested, caffiene has much more to offer than keeping you awake during an all nighter study session or the graveyard shift. Life Updated

Happy Spring! It's been a busy month for me and Perfectly Posh. The business side has been booming, more and more people are discovering the magic of Posh every day, while others are spreading the word with their friends on how much they love a particular product.

The Spring Fling Open House party is over and orders were put in last night. Three new customers made orders, awesome! A new friends, Jeannette Shirley has joined the team and will soon be moving to Texas to share more about Posh there. Still looking for someone to take on the locals here in Fort Irwin. If anyone is at all interested, I have information packets available to take home, and we can set a time to sit and talk over coffee/tea.

I'd also like to share my Posh story with you all. I know not many are believers in direct sales and only have the crazy door-to-door sales ladies and knives salesmen to go by when you think about what running a direct sales means. It's nothing like that. Trust me, because I was such a person who only recalled the AVON lady my mother avoided when I was young. Not saying AVON is bad, because I enjoy shopping AVON from time to time myself. It was the salesperson's tactics that scared some people. :-)

So, here it goes...

Knowing I was going to soon quit my job and move on military housing, I felt this was my opportunity to start something I’d always wanted to, a home business. Though, I must admit, I wasn't looking for direct sales. More like a home office, data or phone service. Seeing that there were none available, I then started researching direct sales. After a few weeks of thorough research, I found my best chance at making this work as a career would be with Perfectly Posh. Soon after signing up I made sales before I even had my kit from a few coworkers and family. However, a month later is when we moved on Post, myself just as a guest with my, then, fiance  now husband. Since we were not married I was unable to apply for a vendor’s permit, which limited my advertising and selling, therefore stunting the growth of my business.

However, things have really picked up since February, when I acquired my vendors permit to run a home business on post (we married in November but did not have time until after the holidays). In just a little over a month I've gotten orders from new faces, have quite a few people interested in hosting parties, a new recruit who is just as passionate about Posh as I am, and many more new and previous customers asking about new products, ordering and claiming a new devout love for Posh!

So, I would like to say that I can't really consider my start date with Posh as the day when I received my kit, but the day I got my vendors permit. I'm now free to advertise all I want, appear at events in post to sell and share.

Michael, my husband, HAD serious reservations about me starting a direct sales business, courtesy of his ex-wife. Though he has now even offered, on his own accord, to make a video of his testimony as a supportive husband of the Perfectly Posh business opportunity and prospective. :) I am considering taking him up on this offer.

I feel that just hearing him say this, means I am on the right path to making this a successful business. With him, and the wonderful people of Perfectly Posh, founders, support and peers, I know I am able to make this a serious and prosperous business sooner than later as I would have with any other more mature direct sales out there today.

In reading this, I hope you find the inspiration I feel every day I talk about Perfectly Posh, to start take the proverbial bull by the horns and be your own boss!
